“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” 1 Corinthians 12:27 ESV
Every Christian is called to be a part of a local, Bible-believing church. Being a member of a church isn’t so much about privileges or perks, like joining a country club. Instead, being a member of a church is more about serving, caring for others, mutual accountability, praying for leaders, discipleship, giving, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
In order to become a member of Tremont Baptist Church, one must:
- Be a Christian.
- Be baptized.
- Express a desire to be a member and be received by the church.
In addition, members should be in agreement with our Doctrinal Statement and Church Covenant.
